PRO-Soccsksargen Boosts Police Capabilities with New Computers, Vehicles
PRO-Soccsksargen Distributes New Equipment to Police Units

The Police Regional Office in Soccsksargen (PRO-Soccsksargen) has taken a significant step to modernize its force, distributing a fresh batch of essential equipment to its various units across the region. The move aims to significantly boost the operational capacity and frontline service delivery of local police.

Ceremonial Turnover at Camp General Paulino Santos

The formal blessing and handover ceremony took place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the grandstand of Camp General Paulino Santos. This camp serves as the headquarters for PRO-Soccsksargen and is located in Tambler village, General Santos City. The event marked the official deployment of the newly acquired assets to police offices and field units under the regional command.

New Assets for Enhanced Police Work

The distributed equipment is designed to address core needs in administration and mobility. The procurement includes a substantial number of 71 desktop computers and six laptops, which are expected to streamline data management and reporting processes. Furthermore, to improve response times and patrol coverage, the office also distributed 19 light transport vehicles to its lower units.

A Symbol of Public Trust and Responsibility

Leading the distribution was Police Brigadier General Arnold Ardiente, the director of PRO-Soccsksargen. In his address to the recipient units, General Ardiente framed the new equipment as more than just material assets. He emphasized that each computer and vehicle represents the confidence of the government and, more importantly, the trust of the Filipino people in their police force.

Ardiente issued a clear reminder to all personnel, stating that this trust must be honored through disciplined use and responsible management of the resources. He called for an unwavering commitment to service, underscoring that the equipment should directly translate into more effective and efficient public safety operations for the communities in the Soccsksargen region.
