Pampanga Police Nab 6 in Sweeping Anti-Crime Operations
Six Arrested in Pampanga Police Operations

In a coordinated series of law enforcement actions across the province, authorities in Pampanga apprehended six individuals on January 19, 2026. The Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) reported that the arrests were made by different police stations targeting various criminal activities, from drug peddling to acts of violence.

Assault and Drug Busts Across Multiple Towns

The operations spanned several key areas. In Mexico town, police officers arrested a suspect accused of violating Republic Act 9262, the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. The arrest followed a report of a physical assault in Barangay Parian, where the victim was allegedly attacked while asleep. Responding personnel quickly proceeded to the location and took the suspect into custody.

Meanwhile, in the City of San Fernando, a joint team from the local police's Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga conducted an operation in Barangay Quebiawan. This effort led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu. The illegal drugs have an estimated street value of ₱68,000.

Warrant Arrest and Further Drug Stings

Also in San Fernando, police collared another individual based on an existing arrest warrant. The Warrant Section of the police station apprehended the suspect for an alleged violation of the Bouncing Check Law. Notably, the arrest occurred while the suspect was in the process of obtaining a Philippine National Police (PNP) clearance.

The anti-drug campaign continued in Mabalacat City, where operatives from the local Drug Enforcement Unit and PDEA Regional Office 3 executed a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau. This operation resulted in the arrest of one man, from whom authorities confiscated 20 grams of shabu valued at ₱136,000.

A final buy-bust was carried out in Lubao town. Personnel from the Lubao Municipal Police Station and PDEA Pampanga, in coordination with PDEA Regional Office 3, targeted an area in Barangay San Nicolas 1st. The operation led to one arrest and the recovery of about 2.79 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱18,972, along with the marked money used in the transaction.

A Clear Message Against Criminality

The simultaneous operations conducted on January 19, 2026, demonstrate a concerted effort by Pampanga police and PDEA agents to address both crimes against persons and the illegal drug trade. The arrests across Mexico, San Fernando, Mabalacat, and Lubao highlight the broad scope of the day's enforcement activities. The seizure of a significant amount of shabu with a total estimated value exceeding ₱220,000 represents a substantial blow to local drug distribution networks. These operations send a strong message about the ongoing commitment of Pampanga authorities to maintain peace and order in the province.
