Dawn Arrest in Tanza Ends Manhunt
In a coordinated early morning operation on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, combined police forces apprehended the suspect. The arrest took place around 3:30 a.m. in Barangay Tres Cruces, Tanza, Cavite. The suspect, a 46-year-old resident of Navotas City, was taken into custody based on a no-bail arrest warrant for two counts of murder. During the arrest, law enforcement agents confiscated a Glock 9mm pistol equipped with an optic sight, along with ammunition, from the individual.

The victims were Ramil Capistrano, President of the Bulacan Association of Barangay Captains, and his driver, Shedrick Toribio.
