Police in Aparri, Cagayan, confiscated a .38 caliber pistol and a kitchen knife from two students at a local school on Friday, June 26.
Incident Details
According to initial investigations, the Grade 8 and Grade 10 students were searched in front of the principal of Aparri School of Arts and Trade at 11:28 a.m. The .38 caliber pistol was recovered from the Grade 10 student, while the kitchen knife was taken from the Grade 8 student.
Ongoing Investigation
Police are continuing to investigate the motive behind the students bringing the weapons to school. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the minors involved.
