RJ Abarrientos, the electrifying point guard of Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings, is expected to beat Robert Bolick of NLEX Road Warriors and June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel Beermen in the race for the Best Player of the Conference award in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner's Cup.
Although Bolick and Fajardo still lead in statistical points, Abarrientos' impressive performance from the semifinals against Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the ongoing finals series against TNT Tropang 5G has made him the favorite to win the award.
