Jerrick Ahanmisi moves to San Miguel Beermen

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) saw a major trade as exciting guard Jerrick Ahanmisi moved from the Terrafirma Dyip to the San Miguel Beermen. In exchange, the Dyip received Juami Tiongson, veteran guard Chris Miller, and the rights to a Season 52 draft pick from the Beermen.

Ahanmisi's Journey in the PBA

Ahanmisi entered the PBA as the 10th overall pick by the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots in 2020. He was later traded to the Dyip in August 2025. During his time with the Dyip, he posted impressive numbers, averaging 21.25 points, 4.67 assists, and 3.00 rebounds in the ongoing Season 50 Commissioner's Cup.

Joining a Star-Studded Lineup

In the next conference, Ahanmisi will join the star-studded Beermen roster, which includes June Mar Fajardo, Jericho Cruz, CJay Perez, Marcio Lassiter, and Chris Ross. This move is expected to strengthen San Miguel's backcourt and add depth to their championship aspirations.
