Undefeated former amateur standout Criztian Pitt Laurente is looking at bigger fights after his upcoming ring return on June 13, 2026. The 26-year-old lightweight boxer, who holds a perfect record of 15-0 with nine knockouts, is set to face Jing Aguan in the main event of Sanman 101 at the Villa Kristen Resort and Hotel Inn in General Santos City.
Laurente's Comeback and Ambitions
“It’s good to be back in the ring again and be active again. After this we are ready for bigger fights abroad,” said Laurente, a bronze medalist in the 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships. He is coming off a layoff of nearly a year, with his last bout on August 31, 2025, where he defeated Hebi Marapu by unanimous decision to claim the International Boxing Federation Pan Pacific lightweight belt.
Sanman Promotions CEO JC Manangquil emphasized the importance of this fight: “We have bigger fights lined up for Laurente later this year. He needs to be impressive in this fight.”
Opponent Jing Aguan's Struggles
Aguan, who holds a record of 7-3 with five knockouts, has dropped three of his last five fights. He was knocked out by Mikito Nakano in the second round of his last outing. In contrast, Laurente has been dominant, with nine of his 15 wins coming by way of knockout.
Main Supporting Bout and Other Fights
In the main supporting bout, Chinese fighter Yeerzhati Baihazhati (4-2-1, 1 KO) faces Filipino veteran Arnold Garde (13-17-6, 6 KOs) for the World Boxing Association Asia South flyweight title. Baihazhati is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Thai Wachirawit Sanpakorn, while Garde lost his last fight via fifth-round stoppage against former world title challenger Giemel Magramo.
Also on the card are Chinese Yesihati Yeerken, Gabriel Tapales, and David Santisima. The event, promoted by Sanman Promotions, will take place on June 13, 2026.
