A stellar field of local and foreign triathletes is expected to compete in the 10th edition of the Century Tuna IRONMAN 70.3 Subic Bay on June 7, 2026. Organized by Sunrise Events, Inc., the event provides local athletes a chance to qualify for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship scheduled for September 12 to 13 in Nice, France.
Qualifying Slots and Roll-Down Ceremony
Slots will be distributed evenly across male and female age-group divisions. Automatic entries go to top division finishers, followed by the highly anticipated roll-down ceremony. This tension-filled tradition awards unclaimed slots to athletes who finished just within striking distance, keeping the world championship dream alive for many.
The Grueling Main Event
The Century Tuna IRONMAN 70.3 features a punishing 3.8-kilometer swim, a 180-kilometer bike ride, and a full 42.2-kilometer marathon run. Athletes must push their limits to conquer this demanding course.

Beyond the main race, organizers have lined up a high-octane festival from June 5 to 7, ensuring everyone from beginners to young athletes can join the action.

On June 6, the RLC Residences IRONKIDS Triathlon and Kids' Run will feature future stars of the sport, giving youth a chance to taste the thrill of crossing a world-class finish line.
Birch Tree Adult Boost Sunrise Sprint
Also on June 6, the Birch Tree Adult Boost Sunrise Sprint offers a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and 5-kilometer run for adult participants.
New Super Sprint Debut
The new Super Sprint makes its debut with a beginner-friendly 400-meter swim, 10-kilometer bike, and 2.5-kilometer run. This event provides the perfect introductory gateway for those looking to experience the magic of multisport for the very first time.
