Caraga Region Dominates Soft Tennis Secondary Girls-Doubles at Palaro Tu Agsur 2026
BUTUAN CITY – The Caraga delegates dominated the soft tennis secondary girls-doubles event at the ongoing Palaro Tu Agsur 2026, securing the gold medal after defeating Region 12-SOCCKSARGEN (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Koronadal, Sarangani, and General Santos City), which settled for silver. Meanwhile, MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) and Region II-Cagayan Valley tied for third place, both receiving bronze medals.
Caraga also earned a bronze medal in the soft tennis secondary girls-singles event and a silver medal in the soft tennis secondary mixed-doubles event. These demonstration sports are newly introduced to the Palarong Pambansa, being piloted here before being included as regular events in future national games.
