Hundreds of runners gathered at SM Lanang on June 7 for the annual Pride Run 2026 Davao, an event that celebrated fitness, diversity, and community. The race featured categories ranging from 1K to 16K, drawing participants of all ages and backgrounds.
Men's 16K Race
Kyle Andrei Drama dominated the men's 16-kilometer race, finishing in 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 21 seconds. He outpaced Jerald Lucernas, who came in second at 1:14:56, while Mavis Montecillo secured third place with a time of 1:28:46.
Women's 16K Race
Trisha Louise Fortes topped the women's 16K field, crossing the line in 1:30:34. April Dawn Reyes followed in 1:39:06, and Lovely Jane Aguilon completed the podium in 1:43:50.
Non-Binary Divisions
The event highlighted inclusivity with non-binary categories. Carl Jehuhazar Imboc won the 16K non-binary title in 2:02:06, ahead of Myrvonne Pangapalan and Anjy Taylor Abanto.
10K Race Results
Raffy Villanueva took the men's 10K crown in 40 minutes and 20 seconds, followed by Joseph Suriba (54:15) and Colin Calamba (55:29). Kate Duffy Gel McDowell of the University of Mindanao won the women's 10K in 42:33, edging Faith Marie Ocon (42:40) and Analyn Turno (51:19). Denver Prior led the non-binary 10K division in 49:00.
5K Race Highlights
Rhianne Mae Mañacap posted the fastest time of the day in the 5K, winning the women's title in 20:34. Cristopher Batucan claimed the men's 5K in 24:11, with Angelo Bonleon and Mark Manglicmot following. Rey Acido topped the non-binary 5K in 35:44.
3K and 1K Dog Divisions
Adnan Canapia won the men's 3K in 14:36, while Chelsea Muriel Montecillo took the women's 3K in 15:32. Rezalvacion Baneke won the non-binary 3K in 19:57. In a unique twist, Eric Luda's pet won the male 1K dog division in 4:38, ahead of Joel Suarez (9:39) and Philip Palma (19:13). Angeli Gonzales captured the female 1K dog title in 5:43.
Organizers noted that the event brought together runners from diverse backgrounds, turning the streets around SM Lanang into a celebration of endurance, personal achievement, and pride. The race was organized by RunRio Inc. in partnership with Davao City-based event manager Kenneth Sai of KinetixSports and MLSA.
