Technical Issues Confirmed

Prior to this, Meta confirmed that their services experienced technical issues and immediately initiated repairs. During the peak of the outage, "Facebook down" and "Instagram down" became trending topics on X (formerly Twitter) as many netizens were unable to log in or access their accounts.

Some thought their accounts had been hacked, while others believed they had simply run out of internet data. Some netizens refreshed their Wi-Fi connections and reinstalled the Facebook application in hopes of resolving the issue. Others did not hesitate to joke online after the service was restored.
