An estimated more than 20 people were crowded in the area, shouting every time someone won, prompting the personnel of the Intelligence Unit and Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Toledo Police to respond urgently.

When the police arrived at the gambling site, most of the gamblers quickly noticed and scattered, running towards the dark part of the area. However, the arrested individuals were unable to move due to shock, resulting in their arrest by authorities.

Seized from the scene were three sets of dice and other paraphernalia used in the illegal gambling game called "hantak."
