69 Boxes of Medicines Turned Over to Tawi-Tawi Province

The Office of the Chief Minister, through Project Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (Tabang), has turned over 69 boxes of assorted medicines to the province of Tawi-Tawi. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and improve the delivery of healthcare services in the province.

Turnover Ceremony

Sittie Majadiyah Omar, head of the Project Tabang Health Ancillary Unit, confirmed that the 69 boxes of medicines were handed over on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The Provincial Health Office formally received the shipment. Omar stated that the medicines are expected to enhance Tawi-Tawi's capacity to provide essential health services to its constituents.

Background of the Assistance

The assistance was provided following a previous visit by Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua to the province. During that visit, he discussed healthcare concerns with Tawi-Tawi Governor Yshmael Sali, particularly the shortage of medicines. The turnover is a direct response to those discussions.
