CCA Receives 5-Star Events Management Center Award

The City College of Angeles (CCA) has been officially recognized as a 5-Star International Center of Excellence for Events Management by the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management (APIEM). This prestigious designation makes CCA the only higher education institution in both the Philippines and the entire Asia-Pacific region to achieve the highest rating from APIEM, a globally respected accrediting body specializing in events management education.

Exclusive Recognition in the Region

CCA now joins a select group of Philippine institutions that have also earned a 5-star rating from APIEM. These include Lyceum of the Philippines University, Leyte Normal University, Panpacific University, and Joji Ilagan International School of Hospitality Management. However, CCA stands out as the sole recipient of the 5-star International Center of Excellence status in the Asia-Pacific area.

Commitment to International Standards

The award highlights CCA's adherence to rigorous international benchmarks in events management education. The college's academic programs, teaching methodologies, and industry alignment have all met APIEM's stringent criteria. According to CCA officials, the recognition reflects the institution's dedication to providing world-class education and training in tourism and events management.
