The Philippines has officially been announced as the host of the 7th Asian Beach Games, which will take place in Cebu in 2028. Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino led the signing of the hosting contract alongside representatives and athletes at the Conifer Resort in Sanya, China.
Tolentino signed the hosting agreement together with Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) President His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani.
"We would like to congratulate the Philippines for the hosting of the 7th Asian Beach Games in 2028, in Cebu. Wishing you a pleasant stay in Sanya," said the OCA President.
