Ikebana International Davao Chapter 133 successfully launched its exhibit, titled "Rhapsody in Bloom," at the popular Ayala Malls Abreeza. Guided by its dynamic president, Leticia Averion, the Davao chapter has been a steadfast cultural pillar for over five decades. Unlike conventional floral arranging, ikebana adheres to philosophical principles emphasizing balance, harmony, and simplicity. Practitioners thoughtfully utilize natural elements—branches, leaves, grasses, and blossoms—to craft compositions that reveal the inherent beauty and spirit of nature itself.
