Russian Vlogger Deported, Blacklisted for Harassing Filipinos
Russian Vlogger Deported, Blacklisted for Harassment

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has confirmed the deportation of controversial Russian social media personality Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who has been permanently barred from re-entering the Philippines.

Deportation Order and Flight to Russia

Zdorovetskiy was declared an undesirable alien by the BI's Board of Commissioners on December 17. This order was executed on Saturday, January 17, 2026, when the 33-year-old vlogger was placed on an IrAero flight bound for Irkutsk, Russia.

BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado stated that the deportation was a direct result of Zdorovetskiy's actions, which violated the conditions of his stay in the country. Following his removal, his name was officially added to the bureau's immigration blacklist, preventing any future return.

A Pattern of Harassment and Disruption

The deportation stemmed from multiple complaints filed against Zdorovetskiy. The BI found that he had harassed and disrespected several Filipinos, disrupted public peace and safety, and committed acts contrary to morals and good customs.

His first arrest occurred in April of last year. Known for his provocative prank videos, Zdorovetskiy was documented in several incidents, including:

  • Harassing a security guard.
  • Shouting expletives at a Filipino woman wearing a face mask.
  • Stealing a heavy-duty electric fan.
  • Taking a tricycle without permission, which later crashed into a parked jeepney.

During inquest proceedings, Zdorovetskiy admitted to the acts of harassment. He was subsequently detained at the BI Warden's Facility inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig. His application for bail was denied by the bureau.

Official Statement and Warning

Commissioner Viado emphasized that while the Philippines welcomes visitors, respect for local laws is mandatory. "The country warmly receives guests from all nations, but respect for our laws is non-negotiable," Viado said. "Those who engage in harassment or disruptive acts undermine public order and will be swiftly sanctioned."

This case highlights the BI's stance on foreign nationals who abuse their stay and engage in behavior that threatens public safety and order. The swift deportation and blacklisting serve as a clear warning to others.
