14 More OFWs Safely Return from Dubai to Philippines in Government Repatriation Program

An additional 14 Filipino migrant workers from Dubai have safely returned to the Philippines under a government-led repatriation initiative, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). This latest group arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City around 10:00 PM on April 19, 2026, aboard a commercial flight operated by Emirates Airlines.

Immediate Assistance Provided Upon Arrival

Upon their arrival in the country, the returning OFWs were immediately greeted and assisted by personnel from the DMW, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The government agencies provided comprehensive support, including financial aid, food supplies, transportation services, medical assistance, and temporary accommodation to ensure their smooth transition back home.

Post-Repatriation Support and Skills Assessment

In addition to immediate relief, the repatriated workers underwent profiling, skills assessment, and job matching processes. These steps are designed to help them secure new employment opportunities in the Philippines, facilitating their reintegration into the local workforce and supporting their long-term livelihood stability.
