Iglesia Ni Cristo Ends Rally Early, Demands Justice for Flood Projects
INC Ends Rally Early, Demands Gov't Transparency

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) successfully concluded its major protest action in Manila ahead of schedule, having achieved its primary objectives in just two days instead of the planned three.

Rally Concludes Ahead of Schedule

In a statement released on Tuesday morning, November 18, 2025, the influential religious organization announced it would no longer require the full three days originally allocated for the "Rally for Transparency and a Better Democracy" at the Quirino Grandstand.

The group stated that the purpose of the rally was to amplify the public's demand for a proper and transparent investigation into the anomalous flood control projects in the Philippines. However, the message was delivered more swiftly than anticipated.

A Peaceful and Orderly Achievement

"We did not need three days to achieve the goal of sending the message that we are calling for justice, accountability, transparency, and peace," the INC declared.

The religious group emphasized that the success was made even more significant because it was accomplished without any disorder. The protest, which began on Sunday, November 16, was marked by its peaceful nature from start to finish.

"From the very start, we have stressed that we are against moves that are against the Constitution. We started peacefully and we ended peacefully," the INC's statement affirmed.

Gratitude and a Unified Call

The INC expressed its profound gratitude to all its members who participated in the activity, with a special acknowledgment for those who traveled from distant provinces to lend their voices.

The church administration framed the event as a direct response to the growing public clamor for the government to decisively address what it describes as massive corruption within the system.

This early conclusion demonstrates the efficiency and discipline of the INC's mobilization, effectively turning a planned three-day event into a powerful two-day statement calling for greater government accountability.
