According to Byron Cristobal, also known as "Banat By," they personally went to the department to submit their rejoinder to the prosecution. This pertains specifically to the cyber-libel complaint recently filed by the former lawmaker against them.
Origin of the Complaint
The complaint stems from the alleged dissemination of information claiming that Trillanes received $2 million, which he has since denied. However, Cristobal appealed to avoid being "thin-skinned," especially when receiving criticism. Nonetheless, he expressed confidence that the DOJ will be fair in hearing the complaint. He hopes that the prosecution's decision will favor them after submitting their response.
