In neighboring Lanao del Norte, police conducted two separate interventions. Police Colonel Leo De Leon Sua, the provincial police director, reported that a search warrant implementation in Linamon town led to the arrest of a 27-year-old suspect known as Mer.

The operation, conducted around 8:20 p.m. in Purok 2A, Magoong village, resulted in the recovery of 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, along with drug paraphernalia and a coin purse. Mer is now detained at the Linamon Municipal Police Station.

Later that evening, a buy-bust operation in Lala town apprehended Bakang, 39, a street-level suspect. An undercover officer purchased a sachet of shabu, leading to Bakang's arrest.
