In a dawn operation on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:25 AM, police arrested two best friends in Barangay Awihao, Toledo City, for illegal drug possession and selling. The suspects were identified as Lie Pantallano, alias Andot, 39, single, and his best friend Mark Jhun Caminero Canillo, 18. Both reside in the area and are now detained at the Toledo City Police Station, facing charges for drug pushing and possession.
Operation Details
The buy-bust operation was conducted by personnel from the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Toledo City Police Station. Seized from the suspects was approximately 7.67 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P52,156. The police stated that the duo had been under surveillance due to their lavish lifestyle despite being unemployed, which prompted the operation. The suspects are currently awaiting the filing of formal charges in court.
