New PRO-7 Director Visits Bohol Police, Turns Over Equipment

Police Brigadier General Arnold Abad, the newly appointed Acting Director of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7, paid his first official visit to the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) on Monday, April 27, 2026, during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.

Turnover of Equipment

During the visit, the turnover of new mobility assets and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment worth millions of pesos was held, aimed at enhancing the operational readiness of the police force in the province. General Abad led the ceremonial turnover together with Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle “Aris” Aumentado and Bohol PPO Director Police Colonel Patricio Degay Jr. The event was also witnessed by local chief executives and police chiefs from various towns.

ICT Equipment Details

The ICT equipment, valued at over P6.4 million, includes 48 high-speed scanners, 48 heavy-duty printers, 35 biometric fingerprint scanners, 35 webcams with tripods, and 31 USB storage devices.

Mobility Assets Details

The mobility assets, worth nearly P44.7 million, consist of two Toyota Hilux 4x4 patrol jeeps, 18 Mitsubishi Triton 4x4 carrier trucks, one Toyota Innova, and two Honda dirt bikes.

Distribution to Municipal Police Stations

These vehicles will be distributed to the Municipal Police Stations in Baclayon, Buenavista, Corella, Jagna, Loboc, Loon, Lila, San Miguel, Sierra Bullones, Sikatuna, Tubigon, Valencia, Catigbian, Cortes, Duero, and Panglao.
