An officer of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the driver of a mobile patrol unit may face administrative complaints for allegedly violating traffic regulations, according to the PNP. The PNP condemned the incident, which reportedly endangered road safety and violated existing traffic laws.

The case has been referred to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) after it was observed that a PNP-marked vehicle was used to transport two wooden pushcarts that exceeded the vehicle's dimensions. Additionally, the vehicle reportedly had no license plates. The LTO has issued a show cause order requiring the two personnel to explain their actions.
