A truck driver and his assistant were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Liloan Police Station at 8:35 PM on April 24, 2026, in Purok Sandayong 1, Barangay San Roque, Liloan town.
The two suspects were identified as Geralden Gesta Jumao-as, 36, single, a truck driver from Barangay Don Pedro, Bogo City; and Robin Tapang Cañete, 54, a truck boy from Purok Papaya, Barangay Catarman, Liloan town.
They were arrested after selling one packet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer. Aside from the packet used in the transaction, authorities recovered five more packets of shabu from the suspects.

Police intelligence revealed that the suspects could dispose of 2 to 4 grams of shabu per week.
