Law enforcement authorities in Aklan province successfully apprehended the region's fifth most wanted individual during a coordinated early morning operation in Kalibo. The arrest took place on November 27, 2025, marking a significant victory for local police forces.

At precisely 7:31 a.m., combined operatives from the Kalibo Municipal Police Station and the Aklan Police Provincial Office Tracker Team located and arrested the suspect along Osmeña Avenue in Barangay Tigayon, Kalibo. The individual, identified only as alias Ron, 41, a resident of Kalibo, faced multiple serious charges including:
- Qualified rape
- Two counts of sexual assault
- Acts of lasciviousness
The arrest was executed based on a warrant issued by Branch 3 in Kalibo on November 26, 2025, just one day before the successful operation.
Police Response and Bail Conditions
Police Brigadier General Josefino Ligan, the Regional Director of Police Regional Office in Western Visayas (PRO 6), praised the law enforcement teams for their effective collaboration. "I commend the operatives of Kalibo MPS and the Aklan PPO Tracker Team for their immediate, collective, and diligent efforts," Ligan stated.

The court set strict bail conditions for the various charges:
- No bail recommended for the qualified rape charge
- P120,000 bail set for the two counts of sexual assault
- P80,000 bail recommended for the acts of lasciviousness case
