Priest's Foundation Denies Corruption Allegations

The Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation has strongly denied allegations against its founder, Fr. Flaviano Antonio Villanueva, who was accused of receiving money from a flood control anomaly.

Foundation Rejects Allegations as Baseless

In a statement, the foundation said there is no basis for the accusation made by a former aide of ex-Congressman Zaldy Co, who claimed that money was given to Villanueva in envelopes and a maleta.

The Kalinga Foundation emphasized that there is no evidence that money was delivered to a church along Mindanao Avenue or to an address labeled "33 Clemente," calling the claim a mere rumor.

Condemnation of False Witness

The foundation condemned the release of allegations without solid evidence.

"Legal action has already been initiated. We intend to hold accountable those who have chosen to bear false witness," part of the Kalinga statement read.

Villanueva is known as the founder of the foundation and for his assistance to victims of the previous administration's anti-drug campaign.
