Angeles City Facilitates Key Transport Sector Dialogue
The Public Transportation and Regulatory Office (PTRO) of Angeles City has organized a significant consultative meeting and public forum, bringing together the Federation of Tricycle Drivers and Operators (FEDTODA) and Councilor Raco Del Rosario, the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee Chairman on Transportation. This gathering, held recently, aims to enhance communication channels between the local government and the transport community, fostering a collaborative environment for the effective execution of policies and services within the city's public transportation framework.
Discussion on Ordinance Implementation and PTRO Mandate
During the productive session, participants delved into the essential provisions of an upcoming ordinance set to be implemented by the city council concerning transportation operations. The PTRO took the opportunity to educate FEDTODA members about its core mandate and functions, ensuring transparency and alignment in regulatory efforts. Digitalization Initiatives and Safety Programs

In a move to prioritize safety and wellness, the PTRO also announced a complimentary drug testing program for TODA members, to be conducted at the Angeles City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ACADAC).
