Major Drug Bust in Mabalacat City

Law enforcement operatives in Pampanga successfully conducted a buy-bust operation, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P170,000. The operation took place on November 11, 2025, in Barangay Dapdap, Mabalacat City.

Coordinated Effort Leads to Arrests

This significant anti-drug operation was a joint endeavor between the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Mabalacat City Police Station and agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 3. Their collaborative efforts led to the apprehension of the suspects and the seizure of approximately 25 grams of suspected shabu.

Authorities confirmed that the two individuals now face serious legal consequences for their alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade. They have been charged with a violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police Leadership Commends Sustained Campaign

Colonel Eugene Marcelo, the director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO), praised the seamless coordination between the local police units and the PDEA agents. He emphasized that this successful operation is a clear reflection of the ongoing and determined campaign against prohibited substances within the province.

Colonel Marcelo added a powerful statement, saying, "Each operation is proof that law and order prevail. Together, we are making Pampanga safer, one arrest at a time." This highlights the continuous commitment of Pampanga authorities to combat drug-related activities and ensure community safety.
