PBBM declares special non-working days in three areas

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared special non-working days in three localities to commemorate their anniversaries and special occasions.

Under Proclamations No. 1289, 1290, and 1291, the following dates have been declared special non-working days:

  • June 15 – Bontoc, Southern Leyte (Founding Anniversary)
  • June 22 – Malapatan, Sarangani (57th founding anniversary)
  • June 24 – Balayan, Batangas (annual “Parada ng Lechon”)

According to Malacañang, the proclamations aim to give residents the opportunity to fully participate and celebrate these occasions.

The orders were signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on June 4, by authority of the President.
