Chavit Singson Posts Bail for Cyberlibel Case

Former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson has expressed no concern after being charged with cyberlibel by an unnamed group. This follows the circulation of his mugshot after his arrest related to the case.

Singson Denies Allegations

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Vigan, Singson maintained his innocence and said he immediately posted bail of P60,000 after receiving the complaint. Although he doubts the validity of the case, Singson stated he is ready to face it and even considers it an honor to be sued in order to fight for the truth.

Call to the Public

He also urged the public not to be afraid to defend the truth and to fight against those who are truly guilty.
