Malacañang says no need for AFP loyalty check amid destabilization warning
Malacañang: No need for AFP loyalty check

Malacañang stated that there is no need to conduct a loyalty check among the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at this time.

This was emphasized by the Palace following a warning from Senator Panfilo Lacson that some AFP members have expressed discontent that could potentially lead to destabilization plans against the president and his administration.

According to Palace Press Officer USec. Claire Castro, based on the AFP leadership, they have not received any information regarding this, although they continue to monitor the situation.
