Ashley Diaz, the granddaughter of legendary kontrabida actor Paquito Diaz and daughter of actor Joko Diaz, has expressed her strong desire to follow in her grandfather's footsteps. In a recent interview, she stated her dream is to be known as a kontrabida, or villain, in the entertainment industry.
Ashley Diaz: A Beautiful and Talented Heir
Ashley is a cum laude graduate from De La Salle University and is often compared to actress Andrea Torres due to their striking resemblance. Some have even suggested that she has the potential to become a beauty queen. When asked about the comparisons, Ashley said, "Many people tell me I look like Andrea Torres. Regarding beauty contests, I have been invited to join pageants. I am not closing that door. But for now, as long as I have opportunities in showbiz, I want to pursue my acting career first."
What Ashley truly desires is to honor her late grandfather. "More than anything, I want to honor my lolo today because it's his birthday. It's Paquito Diaz's birthday. I want to thank him because my dad and my tita wouldn't be in showbiz showcasing our talent if he didn't pave the way." She referred to her aunt, Cheska Diaz.
Committed to the Kontrabida Role
Ashley emphasized her commitment to playing villain roles. "I want to be a kontrabida because that is the legacy of my lolo and my father. I want to continue that. Any project will do because I know that as I accept projects, my acting range expands. But if you ask me what my dream really is, as long as I am a kontrabida, I am happy."
Nico Locco: Embracing His Body and Planning an Underwear Brand
Italian-Philippine based actor Nico Locco is open about showing off his physique. He admitted that a large part of his following comes from the LGBTQIA+ community and women, and he aims to please his audiences. Many fans admire his body, and he proudly displays it on his social media platforms. He even refers to his sexy photos as "thirst traps" or flirty photos.
"Thirst trap, yeah, I like that. Flirty, flirty, like that. And I'm proud of it. I'm young, I work out every day, I live a healthy lifestyle. So why wouldn't I want to show it? This is hard work, so I might as well show it to the world," Nico said.
Future Plans for an Underwear Line
Nico is also thinking about his future in showbiz and plans to launch his own underwear brand. "It's not yet ongoing, but I still plan to bring it forward. I had a hard time with my financier. I was open to financing it myself, but I had issues with the supplier. I realized it's actually quite hard to find a good supplier for underwear because I don't want to release a product that is not good, with poor quality. I was close to releasing it, but the material and the garter were bad. So I said, I won't rush it."
