President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has returned to the Philippines after a two-day working visit to Kazan, Russia. The presidential delegation landed at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City at around 4:02 PM.
Productive Meeting with Putin
In his arrival statement, the President highlighted the fruitful results of his visit to Russia. President Marcos personally met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two leaders discussed the importance of deepening cooperation between their countries.
Security Challenges Addressed
They also shared views on security challenges such as terrorism, transnational crime, cybercrime, and other non-traditional threats. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral ties and address common security concerns.
