Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings secured the No. 2 spot after defeating TNT Tropang 5G, 93-86, in the main game on Sunday evening, May 10, 2026, as the elimination round of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner's Cup concluded at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.
Led by their resident import Justin Brownlee, the Gin Kings finished the eliminations with a 9-3 record and will face the No. 7 Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the quarterfinals. Ginebra will enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage as a Top 4 team.
TNT, carrying a 6-6 record, dropped to No. 8 and will take on the No. 1 NLEX Road Warriors (10-2) in the quarterfinals.
In the first game, the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots defeated the Meralco Bolts, 93-76. Despite the loss, the Hotshots remained at No. 4 with an 8-4 record, while Meralco climbed to No. 5 with a 7-5 mark. They will face each other again in the quarterfinals.
