The New York Knicks now hold a 3-1 advantage in the NBA Finals after a stunning second-half comeback against the San Antonio Spurs, winning 107-106. The Knicks erased a 27-point first-half deficit to secure the one-point victory in Game 4.
Spurs Dominate Early
The Spurs' offense was dominant in the early stages, finishing the first and second quarters with a 76-49 lead. However, the Spurs suffered a defensive breakdown in the second half and could not stop the surge from Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby, who led the charge to erase the 29-point deficit.
Key Performances
Brunson finished with 36 points, 7 assists, and 3 steals, while Anunoby added 33 points and 4 rebounds. On the Spurs side, Victor Wembanyama recorded a double-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Dylan Harper contributed 21 points. Despite their efforts, the Spurs could not hold on to their lead.
The Knicks now need just one more win to be crowned NBA champions. The do-or-die Game 5 will be played in San Antonio.
